Chez Nous

We leave the rendezvous with Karel & Mijong of "Chez Nous". This is "Chez Nous", a 48' North Sea much like ours.

Ankers Away

Ray & Eileen on "Ankers Away" departing the rendezvous, Solomons Island.

Anne Marie Sculpture Garden

It's not all boating, we really enjoyed this outdoor sculpture garden in the Solomons.

Krogen Cruiser's Rendezvous

I didn't fully appreciate the docking instructions until we arrived, "ahh, now I get it".

Pack 'em in boys!  We spent three days meeting people and having fun!

Watt's Island, Chesapeake Bay

We are on our way to the Krogen Cruiser's Rendevous in Solomons Island.  We stop for the night off of Watt's Island in Tangier Sound.  Again, we would never have previously thought of an anchorage like this but with the favorable weather we have a beautiful evening and sleep soundly knowing the Delta is "stuck good".  We always set the anchor, then back down at idle, if that holds we increase RPM to 1,000 and even 1,200 if we suspect a big blow.  It really gives us peace of mind!

Onancock Waterfront

Nice little place, tucked out of the way.  Nice shops and restaurants.  Not much dockage but a good anchorage at the entrance to Onancock Creek.

Onancock, VA

We stop in Onancock, the town dock was full so we anchor and take the tender into town for a walk, lunch and "gallery shopping".

Denise & Sylvianne "Riding in the Tender"

Phil & Denise come for a visit. While the boys attend the serious business of navigation the girls enjoy the fine weather and chat as they ride along in the tender.
